CheerleadingThe
purpose of our Cheerleading Squad is to be a source of encouragement and spirit
for our three football teams. The team squad strives to (1) enhance team spirit,
(2) teach good sportsmanship, and (3) increase positive crowd involvement.
The primary duty of our Cheerleading League is to help young girls develop skills, responsibility, and confidence as well as for each girl to (1) improve technical skills and develop life-long exercise habits, (2) create strong and lasting bonds for every member, (3) develop interpersonal skills and (4) maintain high academic and social standards. From the first day of our annual camp, we use nine weekly themes for all of our participants to include the parents/guardians, family members and friends. The nine themes are: Responsibility, Goal Setting, Sportsmanship, Leadership, Smart Moves, Teamwork, Commitment, Perseverance and No Excuses.
