College Career Program

Journey House’s College Career Program helps our youth transition to college and ultimately a career. Students work with our college career coach on all aspects of applying for, enrolling in and graduating from college. Beginning in their freshman year of high school they are coached on what is needed to successfully transition to college. As they go through high school they are given assistance in improving the skills necessary to be prepared for college and ultimately a career. Students are given guidance in building and maintaining a work portfolio and resume. Special attention is given to taking and excelling on college entrance tests. They are coached on career decisions and filling out college applications. Once they graduate from high school and enter college they are given attention on the life skills needed to successfully complete college and graduate into a career.
