Adult Education English Language Learners Program(ELL)
Journey House has been a community agency teaching English language skills since 1969. Our group classes are offered mornings, afternoons, and evenings. We offer the state 6 levels of instruction and our experienced staff are all state certified through the vocational technical college system.
All classes meet two times a week and the hours are:
9:00am -11:00am
11:00am-1:00pm
2:00pm - 4:00pm
5:00pm - 7:00pm
If you are interested, please call Madeline at 414-389-508, x2221 to schedule a testing appointment. Large group orientations and testing are held in January, June and August. We also encourage community members to come to the school or call to determine class availability throughout the year.
The fee for orientation and testing is $5.00. You will also be asked to buy a workbook that you can take home for study.
Our ELL classes are life skill centered and we help provide tools for our students so they can get along within our system. They have access to exceptional materials and computer programs that assist them in their education.
