Adult Education English Language Learners Program(ELL)
Journey House has been a community agency teaching English language skills since 1969. Our group classes are offered mornings, afternoons, and evenings. We offer the state 6 levels of instruction and our experienced staff are all state certified through the vocational technical college system.
All classes meet two times a week and the hours for classes are from:
9:00am -11:00am
11:00am-1:00pm
2:00pm - 4:00pm
5:00pm - 7:00pm
If you are interested please call and sign up with Rosa at 414-389-508, extension 2221. Orientation and testing sessions for the January 2008 semester will be help on January 2nd 3rd, and 4th. Please call and sign up so we can schedule you for an appointment. After speaking with a teacher you will be assigned to a class. The fee for orientation and testing is $5.00. You will also be asked to buy a workbook that you can take home for study.
Our ELL classes are life skill centered and we help provide tools for our students so they can get along within our system. They have access to exceptional materials and computer programs that assist them in their education.
