Football LeagueStarted in 2005, the Journey House Football Program was designed to provide a safe, fun and competitive activity for youth between the ages of six and fourteen. The program has three teams divided by age; Pee Wees (6-8 year olds) Juniors (9-11 year olds) and Majors (12-14 year olds).
Journey House Football and Cheerleading League Rules, Policies, and Regulations Our expectations are to provide a high quality, highly organized, good looking youth football and cheerleading program. We also place a strong emphasis on education, nutrition and good behavior on and off the field. This program is not just about winning games and scoring touchdowns; it’s about the development of our youth and their families. All participants are required to have a library card and must complete a book report of their choice by the end of the season. We want to provide a first class experience for our youth, parents, coaches and community. We want to build a world class youth football program.
The program has had the good fortune to play at Lambeau Field during halftime of a Green Bay Packers pre-season game for the past three years. Practice begins in mid June with our Junior Player Development Camp operating in the evening three days a week (Monday, Wednesday and Friday). Our practices are held at Mitchell Park (27th and Pierce by the Domes) for two hours from 6-8 pm. The program accomplished a milestone this past season with all three Journey House Packers teams winning their respective division level championships.
