On-site Child Care
The on-site childcare program is a free service offered to our students while they are attending classes at the Family Learning Center. It is offered in the mornings and in the evenings for children who are walking to 6 years of age. The program enables the parents to attend class knowing their children are in a safe environment spending quality time with other children.
We offer activities that help the children prepare for school. They learn to socialize, exercise, follow directions, and learn letters and colors in preparation for head start or K4.
Once a month we have PACT (Parent and Child Together). Parents join their children for 20 minutes to participate in an activity they can do together. The activities vary from month to month and many times they revolve around the different holidays we celebrate throughout the year. We also partner with the Milwaukee Public Library which provides us with books, and craft ideas for the children.
