2025 Donor Information to Adopt a Family or Youth
Thank you for wanting to participate in our Adopt a Family program. We appreciate your help in helping our families at this time of year.
The way our program works is once you commit to adopting a family or youth, you will receive a profile with the family's/youth's Christmas list that serves as a guide to help you shop. The profile provides details and includes a picture of the family/youth you have adopted. Please do what you feel comfortable, we do not put any restrictions on our program for what you can do for your family/youth. The only thing that we ask is that each member of the family/youth receive at least one NEW gift.
All gifts should be new; we do not accept used items as part of the gift.
Journey House has three options to deliver your gifts to your family:
1. Deliver directly to the family at their home. (NO staff present - Maybe some language barriers)
2. Arrange a scheduled time mutually agreed-upon time by the family and Journey House to meet at JH
and give presents to the family.
3. Arrange a scheduled drop off to Journey House - NO family contact.
The deadline to schedule to drop your gifts off at Journey House OR arrange to meet at Journey House is Friday, December 19th, by 5 p.m.
Please remember that the time has to be when someone is available at Journey House.
For drop-offs, this is an absolute deadline for us to get the gifts to the families.
If you deliver directly to your family, your deadline is December 25th. You will be responsible for contacting your family to set up a day and time for you to come to their home. Just so you know, there may be language barriers, so please prepare for that. NO JH staff is present.
PLEASE NOTE: All youth gifts must be scheduled to drop off at Journey House.
