Director of THRIVE Construction and Design Academy
Position Overview: Journey House is committed to providing community members with high quality THRIVE Construction and Design experiences with professional and passionate staff. The Director of THRIVE Construction and Design Academy provides direct instruction and services to low to moderate-income individuals who are enrolled in the Construction and Design Academy, which is part of the THRIVE (Transforming Healthy Reliable Inspired Valued Employable) Career Interns Program and STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math) initiatives. This position will include construction and design instruction and supervision of the related, age-appropriate construction and design projects and initiatives to elementary, middle school, high school, and out-of-school youth. The THRIVE Construction and Design Academy Director will work closely with Journey House THRIVE and STEAM team members utilizing evaluation and data as part of educational and recreational interests. Resourcefulness and strong communication are expected to fulfill this position.
Primary Work Schedule: Monday thru Friday Hours will vary according to duties associated with the position,

Facilities/Operations
Journey House Parks and Campus Facilities Maintenance Worker
Position Overview: Under the direction of the Director of Athletics and Stadium Operations, Journey House Parks and Campus Facilities Maintenance Worker 1 will support and enthusiastically take on a variety of parks maintenance, cleaning, and construction projects to be performed at the various Journey House Campus properties and facilities to include the Journey House Center, football stadium, baseball complex, cafe, and various Campus Housing properties. In all instances the Journey House Parks and Campus Facilities Maintenance Worker 1 performs duties with the utmost respect for campus housing residents, community members, league participants, parents, fans, and visitors while providing the best customer service experience imaginable.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following. Other duties may be assigned in line with individual’s experiences and qualifications.
